Productivity

Going through a course of whatever nature, be it in person or online, needs a lot of discipline but most of all it needs motivation to keep that discipline going.

So how exactly can you stay motivated when taking courses?

The reason for taking any course in the first place is the beginning, start by going through the syllabus for that course (course content) to get an idea of what you’ll be able to do once you pull through.

Another reason is, try not to stay on a particular lesson for too long. There’s no law that says you must understand everything immediately. This however does not mean that you shouldn’t put in the effort to understand.

The way out of this, is to grasp the concept of that lesson, not necessarily keeping every nuance, getting the general idea does everything, and can help you see the bigger picture, being the humans we are, our minds have the tendencies to start building up on what the logical intricacies are.

This doesn’t only help in getting the brains for whatever courses it is, it also helps you round off faster, frankly writing: we want to learn. True. but the faster, the better.

And another thing, I’ve come to realize is, most lessons are solutions to problems. So I'd suggest asking yourself, whatever thing it is you want to learn, question yourself on what problem is being solved, you might start seeing from the perspective of those who created or built whatever it is. I believe that’s how the world gets better by the day because it’s through this that flaws are seen depending on the time and era, modifications are then made.

This is my idea of making learning fun. It’s not meant to be a chore.

PS: I too should take note.
