Software design

We continue to research and develop. This week I did some research on SOLID which is one of the important topics of OOP languages. So what are SOLID principles and what advantages do they provide?

The SOLID Principles are five principles of Object-Oriented class design. They are a set of rules and best practices to follow while designing a class structure. These five principles help us understand the need for certain design patterns and software architecture in general. They also make it easy for developers to avoid code smells, easily refactor code, and are also a part of agile or adaptive software development.

It’s a mnemonic acronym for the following five design principles:

Single Responsibility Principle, Open/Closed Principle, Liskov Substitution Principle, Interface Segregation Principle and Dependency Inversion Principle.

There are many resources on this subject, you can easily get information. But I'm adding this link here.

So, do you follow the SOLID rules when writing code?
